Overview

Mount Shishapangma is officially known as Xixiabangma is the 14th highest mountains in the world and the lowest of all 8000m+ mountains. Shishapangma is entirely located within Tibet and has two summits. The commonly climbed Central Summit is at the elevation of 8013m and the higher true peak is at the elevation of 8027m. Shishapangma was little known mountain before China opened Tibet for western mountaineers in 1978. This mountain is tantalizingly close to the Nepalese borders near Langtang. Shishapangma these days is regarded as one of the most straightforward 8000m climbs. Many mountaineers have frequently achieved its summit.

Shishapangma is considered one of the easy 8000 meter peaks with high rate of success for climbing in Tibet . When the mountaineers think of Himalaya expedition with the objective of reaching the top of 8000 meter peak with comparatively little efforts, Shishapangma in Tibet would be a good choice for climbing.

Itinerary

Includes

1. Accommodation:
   • 5 nights  at Kathmandu at Hotel on Bed and breakfast plan sharing basis.
   • The Hotel/Guest house accommodation in Tibet on full board.
   • 4 nights at Lhasa on full board
2. Transportation / Porter:
   • Airport transfer
   • Flight Kathmandu/Lhasa/Kathmandu
   • Jeep/ Bus from Lhasa to Shisapangma base camp
   • Jeep and truck to and from Kerung / B.C./ Kerung
   • 1 Yak: Advance Base Camp to Base camp for each person Max 50 kg personal equipment.
3. Service at B.C. and A.B.C:
   • 30 days Base camp service with one cook and one kitchen boy
   • Insurance of Nepalese staffs
   • Equipment allowance, food and daily wages for the cooks and Kitchen Boy
   • Camping service with camping equipment (Sleeping tent, Kitchen tent, Dining tent, Toilet tent, Shower tent, Table, Chairs, Mattress and Kitchen equipments on full board basis during the climbing period as per itinerary at B.C. & ABC.
   • One tent for each member at Base camp
   • Solar panel to charge batteries
