Tibet houses the two highest and most exhilarating mountains for climbing, Mount Everest and K2 also known as the “Savage Mountain”. Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the World Standing 8,848m at the highest peak. The Mountain known as Mount Everest derived its name from a English surveyor, although the mountain was mapped and named by the native Tibetans already as “Mount Qomolangma”
